AJWC Spreads Holiday Cheer at the 122nd EN BN Christmas Family Day
On December 7th, 2024, the AJWC had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the 122nd Engineer Battalion’s Christmas Family Day, spreading holiday cheer to service members and their families. The event was filled with laughter, warmth, community spirit and a special appearance by Santa to hand out candy and toys as we served cookies and hot cocoa to brighten the day for all in attendance.
The 122nd EN BN’s family day is a special tradition that brings together soldiers, their loved ones, and community partners to celebrate the holiday season. We were proud to play a small part in this special day by offering a sweet treat and cozy drink to help families relax and connect with one another.
With smiles, seasonal treats, and good cheer, our volunteers connected with military families and shared in the spirit of giving. These moments remind us of the importance of showing appreciation and gratitude to those who give so much in service to our community and country.
